Metropolis
Metropolis is composed of 18 full, 10 half & 4 quarter blocks primarily constructed by 1 block design. Initially, strips of fabrics are joined together; this eases the block-making process. Strip sets are cross-cut to make units A & B. Strip-piecing provides the means in which to efficiently sew 32 patches into a 12 inch block framework. Pieced patches are arranged to create 2 blocks: B1 & B2. The quilt center is wrapped with 2 lapped borders.
